Quotations

2001

2007
The term fall supper is of course a misnomer because it applies to any communal dinner in a rural community, regardless of whether it's actually fall or not. Go back a century and the name probably would have been fowl supper, as the wild geese, ducks or even the extinct passenger pigeon would have been served as the main course at a meal that usually features turkey in this day and age.
